Student Incentive Programs
Kumon North America, Inc. will award students, at no cost to you, who meet the eligibility requirements for the awards listed below.

Math Level G by Grade 5 (Algebra Before Junior High) Focuses on our Instructional Target: “Algebra before Junior High”: Students who meet this goal will receive an engraved Kumon Star. These students will also become members of an elite group, the Kumon Mathletes. Definition of Eligibility: A student who is in 5th Grade or earlier and is currently studying at Math Level G or higher. Proof is to be provided through Report B submitted each month. The student must be enrolled at the time of the awards presentation.
Reading Level G by Grade 5 (Advanced Reading Comprehension) Focuses on our Instructional Target: “Advanced Reading Comprehension”: Students who meet this goal will receive an engraved Kumon Star. These students will also become members of an elite group, the Kumon Read-Elites. Definition of Eligibility: A student who is in 5th Grade or earlier and is currently studying at Reading Level G or higher. Proof is to be provided through Report B submitted each month. The student must be enrolled at the time of the awards presentation.
Completion of Level J – Kumon Math Program Through successful completion of Level J: These students will receive an engraved plaque. Definition of Eligibility: Successful completion of Level J materials by students. Proof is to be provided by the Report B submitted by the Instructor. Do not indicate worksheet 200 on the Report B until the student has actually completed the level.
Completion of the Kumon Math Program Through successful completion of Level O : These students will receive an engraved Kumon World Clock. Definition of Eligibility: Successful completion of Level O materials by students. Proof is to be provided by the Report B submitted by the Instructor. Do not indicate worksheet 200 on the Report B until the student has actually completed the level.
Completion of the Kumon Reading Program Through successful completion of the Level K : These students will receive an engraved Kumon plaque. Definition of Eligibility: Successful completion of the Level K by students. Proof is to be provided by the Report B submitted by the Instructor. Do not indicate worksheet 180 on the Report B until the student has actually completed the level. To achieve this corporate recognition • Minimum eligibility is one-year enrollment in the applicable program. • Students must have begun the program at a point suggested by a Kumon Program Diagnostic Test. • Successful completion of the Achievement Test is Group 1 to 3 results. Of course, Groups 1 to 2 are still the preferred results by most Instructors.
Math/Reading Advanced Student Honor Roll (ASHR) Kumon recognizes, on a quarterly basis, the achievement of each student, who is studying six months or more beyond grade level. If you have ASHR students, you will receive quarterly the “Top Twenty” Poster that includes all of the top twenty ASHR students in North America, listed by grade level.
Colored Worksheet Holders When any student reaches Math or Reading Level G, he/she will automatically receive a distinctly colored worksheet holder. The G Level and Climbing Worksheet Holder is silver. The logo will appear in blue lettering.
The Cosmic Club The Cosmic Club is an exciting, new activity designed to make learning fun. All Kumon Math and Reading students will become members of the Cosmic Club. Student I.D. Cards Every student will receive a membership card that identifies them as an official member of the Cosmic Club. After the initial distribution, these cards will be sent directly to their home. Each card will be imprinted with the student’s name and a unique Cosmic Club I.D. number. Points Cosmic Club Points can be earned for activities and milestones within Kumon. Enrollment points are the same for every student and are earned for being enrolled in Kumon. Milestone points will be earned for reaching “goals” within the program such as Honor Roll and advancing to the next level. The points will be automatically tallied and recorded by Kumon and the balance may be checked each month. Twice a year, Instructors will receive a poster listing the number of points their students have accumulated as of June and December. Discontinued students and students absent for more than 2 months will forfeit any accumulated points and start at zero should they re-enroll. Prize Levels and Prizes The Cosmic Club has six prize levels with many awards from which to choose. When a student has earned 50 points, they can choose to receive a prize* or continue to accumulate points to reach a higher and more valuable prize level.** * All prizes are subject to change due to availability. ** Attaining prizes in the higher levels could require years of Kumon study. Check out the prize selections available in these prize levels: • Stratus • Galaxy • North Star Redeeming Your Points for Prizes Students must earn the minimum number of points in the prize level to be eligible for a prize in that category. To obtain a prize, A Cosmic Club Prize Order Form must be filled out completely and eligibly. You may pick-up this form from your Instructor. Please include your Student ID., the Catalog Item Number and the Prize Name in the spaces provided. A phone number must be included in case of any discrepancies with the order.
