Procedures

Becoming and Being a Kumon Student:

• Take a free Placement Test and have a "Starting Point" suggested by the test results and the instructor's observations.
• Discuss your start point, workload, and progress goal with your instructor and your parents.
• Visit the center twice (recommended) or once a week during the center's class hours, and receive homework assignments for non-center days.
• Activities during a center day include:
       - Pick up your class work and new homework in your folder at front desk;
       - Turn in your completed homework for grading;
       - Complete class work and correct any errors in the class work; 
       - Turn-in your folder and check-out at front desk;
       - Make sure your new homework is with you before leaving the center 
• Take an Achievement Test after completing a Kumon level and move to a higher-level study if passing the test.
